this role is responsible for planning, developing and leading the implementation of people and culture strategies, hr business plans and serving as an hr business partner for manufacturing plants.
key responsibilities
* develop and lead people and culture strategies and hr business plans for manufacturing plants.
* collaborate with centers of competence to implement talent attraction and retention strategies.
* foster productive labor relations by maintaining open communication with unions.
* supervise personnel administration from hiring through termination.
* co-create and execute learning and development initiatives.
* coordinate engagement surveys to promote customer-oriented cultures.
* manage and lead hr projects ensuring on-time and on-budget implementation.
qualifications
* knowledge of mexican labor laws/government regulations.
* talent management skills.
* union negotiation experience.
* safety and health regulations knowledge.
* labor relations expertise.
* project management & continuous improvement tools.
* intermediate – advanced english level.
* strong experience in hr, labor relations and strategic projects.
* soft skills: influence and negotiation; effective communication; decision making; conflict management; strategic thinking; analysis and problem solving.
* academic knowledge: degree in business management, industrial engineering, industrial psychology, industrial relations, business administration, law and/or related field.
