overview we are looking for a mid-level project engineer to join our tlaxcala factory. In this role, you will be a key player in industrialization and npi, ensuring a smooth transfer of new and modified products into series production. You will drive production follow-up, secure product release to series, and coordinate cross‑functional activities to deliver safe, efficient, and high‑quality manufacturing.
responsibilities - transfer products and processes from r&d to production site.
- secure product release to series, including validation of production readiness, documentation, and compliance with ericsson standards and customer requirements.
- implement and maintain efficient, ergonomic, and safe production processes, equipment, and tools.
- assure that work instructions, process documentation, control plans, and test requirements are implemented for new projects.
- identify and execute continuous improvement and cost‑reduction initiatives.
qualifications - bachelor’s degree in industrial, mechanical, electronics, mechatronics engineering or related field.
- fluent english (spoken and written) and strong communication skills in an international context.
- experience in production / manufacturing engineering for electronics or telecom hw (pcba, box build, or similar).
- strong knowledge of production preparation and execution, including line setup, process capability, and validation.
- experience with npi / industrialization and ramp‑up to series production.
- process improvement and optimization (lean, kaizen, six sigma or similar mindset).
- familiarity with manufacturing management systems (mes, erp) and use of data for decision‑making.
- hands‑on, shop‑floor oriented profile, comfortable working closely with operators and technicians.
- strong problem‑solving skills and structured way of working.
- clear, concise communication and stakeholder management skills.
- availability to work on‑site at the tlaxcala factory with regular presence on the shop floor.
