position overview
we are recruiting housekeeping professionals for cruise lines and maritime operations, responsible for maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and presentation of all public and crew areas onboard.
these roles are essential to ensure a safe, hygienic, and high-standard guest environment at all times.
key responsibilities
public areas attendant
* clean and maintain all guest public areas (lounges, corridors, restrooms, elevators, decks)
* ensure areas are clean, organized, and presentable at all times
* replenish supplies (toiletries, towels, amenities)
* respond to guest requests and maintain service standards
hotel utility
* perform cleaning and maintenance tasks across guest and crew areas
* support housekeeping operations in multiple areas as assigned
* handle waste management and sanitation procedures
* assist with setup and breakdown of public areas when required
hotel custodial
* deep cleaning of public spaces and high-traffic areas
* maintain strict hygiene and sanitation standards
* use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively
* ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
work environment
* cruise ships (public areas, guest spaces, crew areas)
* high-traffic, guest-facing environment
* structured, cleanliness-driven operations
working conditions
* 10–11 hours per day
* 7 days per week
* physically demanding roles (standing, lifting, repetitive tasks)
* exposure to cleaning chemicals and outdoor elements (deck areas)

experience
* no prior cruise experience required
* minimum 6 months experience in:
* cleaning
* kitchen support
* stewarding / dishwashing
* restaurants, hotels, or industrial kitchens
* entry-level candidates with strong work attitude may be considered
ship experience

* basic understanding of cleaning and hygiene practices
* ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume environments
* physical stamina (lifting, standing for long hours, repetitive tasks)
* teamwork and ability to follow instructions
* attention to cleanliness and organization

* english: basic (a2–b1 preferred)
general requirements
