Industrial engineering team lead we are seeking an experienced and results-driven to head and innovate process development for a defined business unit. Key responsibilities process development & optimization lead process analysis and provide innovative developments to ensure business unit efficiency. Design and define production processes and value streams; identify opportunities for change and improvement. Team leadership & supervision mentor and oversee the industrial engineering (ie) team, ensuring measurable productivity and performance. Provide constructive feedback, performance assessments, and necessary training to elevate team capabilities. Manage department and team administration with strong organizational and leadership skills. Operational excellence & continuous improvement develop and implement strategies to enhance process efficiency and reduce waste. Establish work methods and processes that optimize headcount allocation and equipment utilization. Facilitate and assign kaizen projects for process improvements and waste elimination. Project & capacity management coordinate feasibility evaluations, cost analysis, and production cycle time for new products. Implement engineering changes and ensure their seamless integration within production lines. Lead weekly capacity review meetings, prepare capacity reports, and ensure plans align with production goals. Performance monitoring establish and track performance metrics and kpis (e.g., line balance, uph, upph, hc, quality, efficiency, productivity). Host regular performance dialogue meetings and attend top management review sessions. Engineering design & implementation conduct layout, station, and line design to support production modifications and enhancements. Develop offline headcount definitions and guide execution based on capacity analysis. Tool readiness & training assess and address the ie team's needs for tools, resources, and professional development opportunities. Qualifications education : bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field is required. Advanced degrees (e.g., master's) or certifications (e.g., six sigma, lean, pmp) are a plus. Engineering experience : minimum of 5 years of hands‑on experience in product engineering, including design, development, testing, and manufacturing processes. Leadership experience : at least 2 years in a supervisory role leading engineers or multidisciplinary technical teams. Technical problem‑solving : proven ability to identify complex technical challenges, determine root causes, and develop actionable solutions. Desired skills & competencies : strong background in layout, station, and line design. Expertise in capacity planning, production forecasting, and leveraging productivity tools. Ability to define and manage kpis focused on operational improvements. Demonstrated experience in kaizen implementation and lean manufacturing principles. Proficiency in data analysis and decision‑making processes. Excellent communication skills to interface with technical teams, executives, and stakeholders. Experience in hosting and presenting performance review meetings.
