Global labor and employment specialist
the role involves leading the development of a global labor and employment legal framework, ensuring compliance with international standards. Collaborate with hr, legal, and business leaders to provide strategic guidance on labor and employment matters.
the ideal candidate will have extensive experience in labor and employment law, preferably in a multinational setting. Strong knowledge of employment litigation, non-competition agreements, restructurings, and discrimination laws is essential.
responsibilities include:
- developing and managing the global labor and employment legal team's workflow model
- providing day-to-day employment law advice to internal stakeholders
- creating self-service templates and tools for use by the hr team and managers
- collaborating with key clients to drive process improvements and develop risk mitigation strategies
- serving as part of the global labor and employment legal leadership team
qualifications:
- j.d. or equivalent degree and licensed to practice law in at least one jurisdiction
- 10+ years legal experience, both in a law firm and in-house setting, ideally with a global manufacturing or industrial company
- strong business acumen and practical approach to problem solving
- high level of integrity, trust, and ethical center
- ability to handle complex legal matters simultaneously
