Sap security consultant role overview
as a seasoned sap security expert, you will be responsible for designing, building, implementing, and supporting sap security roles, profiles, and authorizations to sap ecc. This will include ensuring appropriate safeguards are in place across various environments such as crm, scm, fiori, grc, bi, gts, bi4, and hana.
key responsibilities
* design and build sap security roles, profiles, and authorizations to sap ecc, with the possibility of extending to other environments.
* maintain rule sets and job functions pertaining to sap security roles in sap netweaver (abap & java), business objects, and hana.
* manage sap security settings, update profiles, roles, permission sets, and object & field level access as necessary.
* perform and review of sap user license audits performed via solution manager user license workbench.
* configure sap sso configuration and implementation standards.

requirements
* bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
* minimum 5 years of experience in sap security consulting or implementation.
* extensive knowledge of sap security roles, profiles, and authorizations.
* experience with sap netweaver (abap & java), business objects, and hana.
* strong understanding of security best practices and compliance requirements.
