About the role
we are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented finance controller to oversee financial operations within a high-volume manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for managing factory accounting, cost control, financial reporting, and erp-driven financial processes, while leading a team of 5–6 finance and accounting professionals.
this is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing setting, enjoys working with detailed transactional data, and can confidently partner with senior leadership to drive financial performance and operational improvements.

what you'll do
financial leadership & reporting
lead all financial and accounting activities for the manufacturing facility
manage, mentor, and develop a team of 5–6 finance professionals
prepare and present financial reports, cost analyses, and performance metrics to leadership
analyze transactional data to identify cost drivers and improvement opportunities
develop dashboards and reporting tools to support decision-making
manufacturing cost accounting
oversee job order, standard, process, and departmental costing
monitor cost variances, inventory valuation, and production efficiency
partner with operations to improve cost control and profitability
analyze production flows and cost allocations
erp & financial systems
manage erp-driven financial processes and ensure data integrity
lead system improvements and process optimization initiatives
collaborate cross-functionally on integrations and reporting automation
cross-functional collaboration
act as a financial business partner across operations and supply chain
challenge stakeholders on cost performance and efficiencies
support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning
process improvement & controls
maintain strong internal controls and financial governance
identify and implement process improvements
drive cost containment and operational efficiency initiatives
what we're looking for
required qualifications
bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
5+ years of cost control experience in a manufacturing environment
5+ years of erp system experience (multiple systems preferred)
strong experience in job order, standard, and process costing
experience in high-volume manufacturing operations
proven ability to present financial data to senior leadership
experience managing a finance or accounting team

advanced erp and financial systems expertise
preferred
