sap grc analyst, based in mexico city control shared services, part of the internal controls team, reporting to the sap grc manager / risk & control lead.
we are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented sap grc analyst to support our governance, risk, and compliance (grc) initiatives within the sap environment. This role is ideal for someone with 1-3 years of experience in sap security or grc who is eager to grow their expertise in access controls, risk analysis, and compliance monitoring. The analyst will play a key role in managing user access, performing segregation of duties (sod) reviews, and supporting audit and compliance efforts for pepsico globally.
*your impact*
key responsibilities:
sap access management:
assist in provisioning sap user access based on role-based access controls.
maintain and monitor user roles and authorizations in sap ecc/s4hana and other sap modules.
segregation of duties (sod):
perform regular sod analysis using sap grc access control tools.
identify and remediate sod conflicts in collaboration with business and it stakeholders.
support the implementation of mitigating controls.
grc system support:
help maintain sap grc configuration and master data.
support periodic access reviews and certification campaigns.
assist in testing and deploying grc rule set updates.
generate reports and dashboards related to access and sod metrics.
audit & compliance:
prepare documentation and evidence for internal and external audits.
support compliance with sox, and other regulatory requirements.
participate in continuous improvement initiatives for access governance.
collaboration & reporting:
work closely with business process owners, global internal control teams, global process excellence network and it teams.
qualifications:

bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, business administration, or related field.
*experience*:
1-3 years of experience in sap security, grc, or access management.
familiarity with sap grc access control modules.

understanding of sap authorization concepts and role design.
knowledge of sod principles and risk management frameworks.
strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
proficiency in excel and reporting tools.
good communication and teamwork abilities.
