Process improvement specialist
we are seeking a process improvement specialist to drive operational excellence across our fulfillment centers.
* lead strategic process improvement initiatives to minimize variation between shifts, buildings, and regions.
* design and implement network-wide standardization projects to enhance operational efficiency.
* develop and optimize standard operating procedures (sops) for maximum efficiency.
* drive data-based decision making through advanced analytics and insights.
* partner with site leadership to execute improvement strategies and coach operational teams on process excellence.
a day in the life:
as a process improvement specialist, your day will be focused on ensuring inventory accuracy and quality control across multiple fulfillment centers. You will monitor real-time inventory accuracy metrics, collaborate with site teams to troubleshoot counting process issues, and lead problem-solving sessions with site leadership when systematic inventory issues arise.
you will also review and validate new counting processes before network-wide implementation, develop and maintain standard work documentation for inventory control procedures, conduct regular audits of execution and compliance, and frequently interface with site managers, operations teams, software development teams, other process engineers, quality assurance teams, and loss prevention specialists.
