The Xeon Platform Integration and Validation team (XPIV) is looking for an experienced Platform Validation Engineering Manager to lead a dynamic integration and validation team in Guadalajara.
Your responsibilities:
- Provide mentorship and technical direction to distributed team of system validation engineers for planning, scheduling, and program execution.
- Drive quality and productivity initiatives to improve process and methodologies across teams.
- Partner and maintain alignment with cross functional teams to deliver robust and high-quality accelerated computing products.
- Develop platform validation methodologies and test infrastructure.
- Lead a highly competent and capable platform validation team.
- Discovering critical issues in silicon and FW/SW using cutting edge validation tools.
- Be a leader in driving issue investigations and challenges.
- Create work breakdown structures and schedules, and track progress.
- Collaborate with Silicon and System design teams bring-up, debug, validation, and characterization.
- Validation teams in improving Post-Silicon test content and providing feedback for future on-die debug features.
- Drive Xeon and Data-Center Quality improvements by supporting your team, and others around you.

**Qualifications**
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of engineering/leadership/management experience in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering/Science, or Hardware Engineering; OR,
- Master's degree with 8+ engineering/leadership/management experience in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering/Science, or Hardware Engineering.
- 2+ years of experience with multiple system areas and collaboration with Architecture, Design, and Pre-silicon.
- 2+ years of experience with hardware architecture/microarchitecture experience in Platform/CPU/SoC/Chipset/and one or more of the subsystems (preferably RAS, Memory, Power management or Electrical).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge and skills of Intel IA32 architecture is highly desirable.
- System and/or Functional area expertise is highly desirable.
- Platform or Post silicon SOC validation experience.
- Prior exposure to working with CSP (Cloud Service Providers) and OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturers) teams.
- Experience leading teams to validate functionalities and debug complex issues.
- Experience in automation and test/integration methodologies.
- Demonstrated experience working across functions to deliver products.
- Strong technical documentation skills.
- Proficiency in Server based technologies, Machine Learning, Microprocessor, CPU, or FPGA validation, PCIe, DRAM, I2C, SMBus (System Management Bus), Ethernet architecture and Cloud Technologies.
- Experience developing validation methodologies and infrastructure.
- Test plan and test development experience.
- Experience in collaboration with geographically diverse multi-functional teams.
- Experience with hardware test equipment such as logic and/or protocol analyzer.
