responsibilities:
• analyze warranty claims and identify potential issues with the dodge truck actuators
• coordinate with cross-functional teams (quality, manufacturing, design office) to determine root cause of failures
• work with supplier quality engineers to ensure they are aware of any quality issues and provide them updates on actions taken or required to resolve the issue.
• ensure effective communication within the team regarding warranty trends, analysis, and resolutions.
• develop action plans to address warranty issues and implement improvements to reduce future warranty costs.
• monitor progress of warranty reduction initiatives and report status internally and externally as needed.
• provide technical support to manufacturing during production launches, providing guidance on how to address specific issues.
• support product design changes by providing feedback based on field experience.
qualifications:
bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
5+ years of relevant automotive industry experience, including knowledge of electric motors
strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
proficient in ms office suite and sql/excel pivot tables
excellent written and verbal communication skills
ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed
