The successful candidate will be responsible for managing shipments, handling customs clearance, tracking shipment schedules, and processing logistics payments.key responsibilities:manage and coordinate the broker to accomplish the i/e process and processing payments, ensuring all accounting transactions are clear and well-documented.based on purchase orders or sales plans, arrange or track shipment schedules and vessel information; monitor in-transit status and handle shipping exceptions throughout the process.prepare import/export customs clearance documents, coordinate and track customs clearance status, resolve issues during the process of clearance. Apply for customs tax payments, and follow up on payment progress with the finance department.conduct regular inspections of import/export logistics brokers, check protective measures at port yards and agents' on-site operations, and ensure the safety of imported raw materials and products.requirements:professional degree in supply chain management, logistics, international trade, business administration, or related field.minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in import/export logistics and customs coordination, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.in-depth knowledge of international shipping procedures (both air and sea), mexican customs regulations, and documentation requirements.proficiency with erp systems (e.g., sap, oracle) and microsoft office suite, particularly excel for data analysis.diligent, responsible, and possess strong communication skills.fluent in english and spanish.
