summary of the position
the hr generalist is critical to the success of the human resources department and will exemplify amphenol network solutions' core values every day.
under the supervision of the hr manager, you will undertake a wide range of hr tasks including payroll support, employee training, full-cycle recruiting, and administering employee of benefits and leaves.
you remain up-to-date on everchanging laws and assist in maintaining hr/payroll policies and safety program compliance.
you are people-oriented and act as a main point of contact for employee's queries on hr/payroll-related topics.

essential obligations and responsibilities
- oversee onboarding and orientation of all new hires.
- coordinate setup and control of business services.
(transportation, dining room, locker assignment, etc.)
- enter new hires into the company payroll system.
- monitor initial training/probationary periods and follow up with managers to track performance reviews prior to indefinite/regular status changes.
- coordinate all offboarding activities including working with payroll on final payments.
- conduct stay and exit interviews with employees.
- work with quality to ensure dnc training document is kept up to date.
- assist in coordination and completion of regular performance reviews.
- assist in the development and implementation of policies or procedures in the human resources area.
- assist in internal communications to staff.
- ensure compliance with labor regulations.
- support all union relations and activities.
- assist during tl 9000 and iso 14001 audits.
- organization and monitoring of business events.
- maintain employee personnel files.
- carry out and follow up on institutional agreements and service providers for benefits for employees.
- organize and follow up on health campaigns.
- promote internal programs for employees.
- works closely with environmental health and safety specialist to ensure compliance.
- monitoring of government processes (infonavit, fonacot)
- fill out and follow up on imss documents (st-7, disabilities, st-2, st-4)
- serve as a liason between employees and payroll to solve questions and assist with required signature collection as needed.
- assist recruiter in talent acquisition activies as needed.
*integral system*:
- follow and comply with the guidelines established for the control and management of chemicals and hazardous waste.
- follow the guidelines established in the procedures for the proper functioning of the integral system.
- stop your process or activity that affects the operation of the environmental, quality and oas management system.
- communicate with the ehs and quality department to review and identify the environmental aspects and legal requirements applicable to new projects (applies to any changes in the process).
skills and/or experience
- 3-5 - 3-5 years as a human resources generalist
- 1-2 years of experience in recruitment and selection of operational and administrative positions
- basic written and verbal english skills, strongly preferred.
- experience in the electronics industry is strongly preferred.
- basic knowledge in psychometrics
- basic knowledge in imss and labor laws
- basic knowledge of recruitment sources and social networks
- experience with erp management for r.h. area administration is preferred
education, training and certifications
- bachelor's degree in psychology, administration, human resources or related field
- in-depth knowledge of hiring and interviewing
- knowledge of office 365 products
- internal training based on the dnc
physical and mental demands- the tools used are computer, phone, printer, scanner, erp, personnel recruitment platforms
