the sports supervisor plays a key role in promoting physical activity, teamwork, and student wellbeing through structured sports programmes and supervision.
key responsibilities:
- supervise students during sports activities, recess, and physical education support sessions
- assist in the planning and delivery of sports programmes and training sessions
- promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and healthy competition
- ensure safe use and maintenance of sports equipment and facilities
- monitor student participation and encourage engagement in physical activities
- support pe teachers and coaches during classes and events
- organise and assist in school sports events, tournaments, and competitions
- identify and report any safety risks or incidents
- maintain discipline and positive behaviour during activities
- contribute to the development of a strong school sports culture
the ideal candidate will have:
- background in sports, physical education, or related field (preferred)
- experience working with children or adolescents
- energetic, proactive, and enthusiastic attitude
- strong teamwork and collaboration skills
- ability to manage groups in active environments
- good organisational and time management skills
- commitment to student safety and wellbeing
