Location: mexico city, mexico employment type: full time working arrangement: onshore petrophysical evaluation & interpretation lead full-cycle petrophysical interpretation and integration of well data apply deterministic and probabilistic methods for reservoir evaluation perform multi-well petrophysical analysis and studies support reservoir characterization for development planning subsurface planning & data acquisition contribute to static data acquisition plans for development wells design and optimize well logging programs: wireline logging while drilling (lwd) monitor and supervise wellsite data acquisition activities ensure high-quality data capture aligned with project requirements integrate petrophysical data into static reservoir models support well placement and development drilling strategies work closely with geology and reservoir engineering teams data management & quality control manage and consolidate petrophysical databases including: well logs (raw and interpreted) core data petrophysical models ensure data quality control and consistency across datasets project & business support support resource evaluation and corporate business planning processes contribute to internal and external technical review meetings support field development planning and approval processes hse responsibilities ensure all activities comply with company hses standards and regulatory requirements promote safe practices in wellsite data acquisition and subsurface activities ethics & compliance ensure all activities comply with company ethics and compliance policies complete all required compliance training qualifications & experience education bachelor’s degree in petroleum engineering, geology, physics, or related discipline master’s degree is an advantage experience minimum 12 years of experience in petrophysics and reservoir characterization strong experience in static reservoir characterization proven experience in complex reservoirs (turbidite environments) experience supporting field development planning and well proposals technical skills strong expertise in: petrophysical interpretation reservoir characterization multi-well data integration experience with: deterministic and probabilistic interpretation methods wireline and lwd data acquisition software proficiency: interactive petrophysics (ip) geolog understanding of: logging operations data acquisition risks and geohazards operational capabilities experience supervising wellsite data acquisition operations ability to integrate petrophysical data with geological and reservoir models strong understanding of offshore development workflows soft skills strong analytical and problem-solving skills excellent communication and presentation capabilities ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams strong collaboration with technical and operational stakeholders languages fluent english required (minimum b2 level) spanish is a plus accepted file types: pdf, doc, docx, max. file size: 4 mb.
