This role provides comprehensive administrative and hr support for plant operations, ensuring compliance with corporate standards and local regulations. Responsibilities include managing vendor contracts, budgets, audits, employee documentation, training programs, and internal communications. The position plays a key role in maintaining operational efficiency, supporting hr processes, and fostering a positive workplace culture.
primary responsibilities
* administer quotations, purchase orders, contracts, and service agreements for site vendors
* maintain vendor records and support annual supplier evaluations
* control invoices in sap and ensure timely posting and cost center assignment
* track and reconcile monthly expenses for services and training
* support audits and documentation for integrated management systems (iso, oea, ctpat)
* prepare weekly operational kpis based on data from functional areas
* coordinate employee life‑cycle documentation (hiring, onboarding, terminations)
* maintain organizational charts, job descriptions, and hr records
* plan and track mandatory and functional training programs
* support onboarding, great place to work initiatives, and internal tools training
* conduct gemba walks and support employee engagement and communication initiatives
* ensure compliance with mexican labor and social security regulations
* participate in continuous improvement and lean initiatives within hr and administration
minimum requirements
* bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, or related field
* minimum 3 years of experience in administrative and coordination roles, preferably in manufacturing operations
* proficiency in microsoft office
* strong organizational and multitasking abilities
* knowledge of mexican labor and social security processes
preferred requirements
* experience with sap or similar erp systems
* familiarity with iso standards and audit processes
* strong communication and interpersonal skills
* background in training coordination and hr compliance
