*gpc* has an immediate opening for a business development manager to bring to market the gpc suite of software and build strong industry relations.
your responsibilities:
- be always understanding the current market and conduct market research to identify potential customers, competitors and trends
- development and implement sales strategies for the identified demographics and markets
- identifying and generating sales leads and work with other sales departments to outreach to potential customers
- manage the sales pipeline, including lead qualification, lead nurturing, and sales forecasting
- building and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners to accelerate growth
- understand the costing of software and the billing model
- identify and document all new business opportunities and markets
- attend all approved industry events
- create decks and other promo material for marketing the software
- generate sales
- provide detailed sales forecasts
- negotiate the sale of software and the contracts
- when appropriate recruit junior sales staff and client services staff
- analyze data to generate reports on sales metrics, customer feedback, and market trends
- working closely with development to create mature highly marketable software
your skills:
- 2+ years selling saas
- strong knowledge of sales and marketing principles and practices, including lead generation, lead nurturing, and contract negotiation
- understanding of business strategy, market dynamics, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for growth
- understanding of basic accounting to ensure profitable contracts
- the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners
- the ability to build, lead and motivate a sales team
- the ability to think strategically and develop long-term sales plans to achieve business objectives
- the ability to analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for growth
- excellent communication skills, including the ability to clearly communicate complex about software and negotiate contracts
- understanding of the power of artificial intelligence in relation to ecommerce
