The tequila & mezcal business is responsible for the supply aspect of the category, including financial, tax, planning, agriculture, manufacturing, export, etc.responsibilities:provide legal counsel on the diverse matters related to the tequila & mezcal business, including corporate, regulatory, and contractual.guarantee legal protection to the business.deliver the correct legal framework that guarantees diageo´s reputation as the most trusted and respected company.negotiate appropriate contracts, documents, and positions representing the tequila & mezcal business.demonstrate leadership capabilities in legal projects, including contractual negotiations and regulatory issues.ensure good corporate and contract governance and compliance matters.lead, enable, accelerate, and protect the growth of the business.counsel the tequila & mezcal supply director, agriculture director, operations director, finance director, cr director, hr director, head of procurement, planning and logistics head, among others, regarding business matters.design/draft contracts, agreements, processes, collaboration basis, external and internal communication memos for all business areas and all diageo companies, especially agreements with suppliers, customers, clients, counterparties, government and judicial authorities and other diageo entities.corporate governance (books, minutes, powers of attorney, shareholders and board meetings).verify full legal compliance for every business activity.provide legal analysis regarding the business’ legal framework.make presentations and share legal analysis in a way digestible to non-lawyers.qualifications:bachelor’s in law (at least 4 years of experience).experience in drafting different kinds of contracts.proficient in commercial, administrative, and corporate law.strong analytical skills.integrity and strong personality with self-confidence.flexible working statement:flexibility is key to our success.
