about the job, key responsibilities include
:
* overseeing the implementation, maintenance, and improvement of the food safety management system (fsms) and haccp plan.
* ensuring continuous compliance with iso 22000 certification standards.
* conducting inspections of kitchens, restaurants, and back-of-house areas to monitor hygiene and sanitation.
* coordinating with the executive chef on investigations of possible foodborne illness cases.
* tracking and recording supplier hygiene certifications in collaboration with procurement.
* designing and delivering hygiene and food safety trainings in coordination with learning & development.
* supporting internal and external audits to ensure compliance with corporate and regulatory standards.
skills:
* monitoring industry best practices to maintain benchmark standards.
* diploma/certificate in food safety, hygiene, or related field.
* knowledge and certification in haccp and iso 22000.
* minimum 2 years' experience in food hygiene and sanitation within the hospitality industry.
* familiarity with local and federal food safety regulations.
* experience with fsms implementation and audits.
* excellent communication and training delivery skills.
* strong organizational and documentation abilities.
* ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.
