Key responsibilities
* lead federal and local tax compliance (income tax, vat, payroll taxes and other applicable contributions).
* oversee tax provisions and tax-accounting reconciliations.
* ensure proper cfdi issuance and electronic accounting compliance.
* actively participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
* coordinate tax and financial audits.
* manage tax authority inquiries and fiscal risk mitigation.
* analyze tax implications of new business operations and contracts.
* prepare executive reports in english for corporate leadership.
qualifications
* bachelor's degree in accounting (cpa or equivalent required).
* 6–8+ years of experience in tax and accounting.
* experience in industrial or manufacturing environments (preferred).
* experience working with international corporate structures.
* strong knowledge of mexican tax framework (isr, vat, cff) and mexican gaap (nif).
* experience with erp systems (sap b1, sap or similar).
* advanced excel skills.
* advanced english required (written and spoken).
