manage, track, and report on issues from identification through to resolution, ensuring they are addressed promptly.
conduct root cause analysis of issues, and recommend remediation actions that successfully remediates the issue, and review remediation evidence to confirm the issue is remediated.analyze trends in issues to identify areas for process improvement and risk mitigation.
communicate results to leadership.
provide input into reporting and presentations to leadership.
produce and update metrics and key performance indicators.advise and assist project teams regarding compensating control alternatives where security requirements cannot be met; stay abreast of emerging trends and best practices related to security and risk.active project team member or self-manage small projects, which may include facilitating team meetings; publishing meeting notes and action items; updating project documents and systems; and ensuring timely completion of assigned action items.
apply a fundamental understanding of risk to liaise with it and other representatives of assigned business functions to perform risk reduction and mitigation activities.required qualifications:bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience with 3-5 years of risk, it audit, issue management, or security experience within a large professional services environment preferred.
experience with compliance, audit methodology, it controls testing, issue investigation, issue reporting, and issue management.
preferred experience with data analytics.understanding of security principles, it security controls, it risks, and related technologies and products.ability to positively influence, mentor and be a credible source of knowledge to less experienced team members.strong verbal/written communication, collaboration, analytical, and presentation skills to lead an environment driven by customer service and teamwork.
