hr manager – mexico
location: naucalpan, state of mexico (on‑site)
about the role
we are looking for a dynamic and hands‑on hr manager to lead the full spectrum of human resources operations across mexico. This role plays a key part in partnering with business leaders, driving talent strategies, and ensuring a high‑performance, compliant, and engaging work environment. You will act as the hr leader for the country, working closely with local and regional stakeholders, while leading a small but impactful hr team.
key responsibilities
* lead and develop a team of hr professionals (hrbp, analyst, and generalists)
* partner with business leaders to drive talent processes, including hiring, onboarding, development, and performance management
* oversee employee and labor relations, including union interactions when applicable
* ensure compliance with local labor laws and company policies
* manage hr operations, including payroll, benefits, and vendor relationships
* collaborate with global and regional hr teams to implement programs (compensation, talent, od, etc.)
* drive strategic workforce planning and talent reviews
* support organizational development, engagement, and culture initiatives
* represent hr as a trusted advisor and change agent across the organization
* maintain strong on‑site presence, fostering open communication and employee engagement
what we’re looking for
* 7–10 years of experience in human resources, including leadership roles
* experience in multinational environments
* strong knowledge of mexican labor law and employee relations
* experience managing complex, multi‑site organizations
* exposure to union environments is highly preferred
* proven change management and stakeholder management skills
* advanced english (spoken and written)
* bachelor’s degree in hr, labor relations, law, or related field
* experience with hr systems (sap successfactors is a plus)
* willingness to travel occasionally
