*your job*:as a molding process engineer, you will work independently across various departments to successfully introduce new injection molding technologies.your key role is to ensure these technologies meet or exceed cost, quality, and time expectations, thus contributing significantly to our manufacturing success.*our team*:join the global shared plants (gsp) team at our nogales location, where collaboration with departments such as quality, engineering, production, planning, and suppliers is essential.reporting to the production manager or manufacturing superintendent, you will be part of a dynamic team driving innovations in molding processes.*what you will do*:- develop and optimize mold design specifications for new tools and components.- collaborate with product development engineers to ensure on-time and budget-friendly mold designs.- actively participate in mold design meetings and fmea sessions to enhance product molding.- lead debugging and qualification of molding processes, ensuring all documentation is complete.- drive research and implementation of new materials and technologies in injection molding.- train staff on new implementations to improve metrics and process efficiency.- ensure compliance with pbm philosophy, quality management standards, six sigma, rba, iso, iatf, and ctpat/oea.*who you are (basic qualifications)*:- bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent proven experience.- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in injection molding processing.- advanced english proficiency (conversational).- proven ability in mold processing, design, and engineering resin knowledge.- effective interpersonal and communication skills across organizational levels.*what will put you ahead*:- degree in industrial engineering.- strong interpersonal skills and teamwork capability.- proficiency in cad and pc-based software for text processing and spreadsheets.- experience in designing experiments and conducting characterization studies.- project management skills to systematically and timely complete projects.*who we are*:
