What would you need?
* +5 years of professional experience in software testing and quality assurance within digital environments, preferably in b2c or e-commerce platforms.
* full professional proficiency in english, spanish, and french (c1 or higher) – mandatory for written and spoken communication.
* solid experience in test strategy design, test case creation, test execution, and defect tracking using tools such as azure devops or similar (e.g., jira, testrail).
* proven ability to work in agile/scrum environments, collaborating closely with development and product teams.
* technical understanding of api testing using tools like postman or similar; experience with automated testing frameworks such as katalon, selenium is a plus.
* ability to design and manage test data for integrated system testing, including end-to-end business flows.
* experience in writing test coverage matrices, qualification reports, and non-regression test suites.
* background in transportation, mobility, or travel industries is a valuable asset.
* based in madrid – available for 2 days/week onsite (100% onsite during onboarding).
what will you be doing?
* analyze business requirements, user stories, and functional specifications to identify testable elements.
* develop, maintain, and execute manual and automated test cases, ensuring full traceability from requirements to execution.
* perform end-to-end testing of customer-facing platforms (web and mobile), including integration with backend systems and third‑party services.
* conduct api and technical interface testing to validate data flows and system interoperability.
* report, document, and track defects using issue‑tracking tools, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication with development teams.
* lead test execution cycles, provide regular progress reporting, and deliver final test summary reports and qualification records.
* contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in testing processes, tools, and automation practices.
* support level 1 application monitoring and help reproduce and analyze production issues reported by end users.
* collaborate with cross‑functional teams (developers, product owners, business stakeholders) to ensure quality is embedded throughout the development lifecycle.
* participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to the maturity of qa practices within the team.
