the accounts payable specialist -invoice processor reports to the accounts payable operations manager (located in the mexico city) and provides support in functions related to accounts payable.
this role is responsible for invoice processing and resolving customer inquiries in the customer service inbox.
the major responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to the following:
*expected responsibilities*:
- process invoices in concur including separating documents/invoices, entering invoice header information (vendor, invoice date, amount etc.) and assigning invoice submitters/approvers.
- reply and resolve issues assigned in the ap customer service inbox.
- adapt to and embrace process improvements.
- adhoc tasks/projects as needed
*qualifications*:
- able to speak, read, and write english fluently
- work us time zone hours 9-6 pm pst
- comfortable speaking english with management and vendors
- bachelor's degree in accounting or related field, from an accredited college.
- a minimum of five (5) years of related experience required
- strong analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills
- strong written and verbal communication and inter-personal skills with the ability to work effectively with all levels of management inside and outside the organization
- responsive, motivated self-starter who takes initiative and ownership of assigned tasks driving to completion.
- desirable experience with concur and/or salesforce
- experience maintaining sensitive data
- attention to detail, planning, and a sense of urgency are key
