Descriptionthis position provides strategic and operational direction to assigned customer base to maximize sales revenues. This role is responsible for revenue generation through the development of sales goals including sales volume, cost of sale and product profitability. It establishes effective communications with appropriate executives and managers to ensure proper sensitivity to sales needs.accountabilitiesmanages customer relationships by actively creating solutions to best meet their business needsestablishes strategy for markets for which they are responsible; develops account strategies and plansupervises the correct business practice with transload terminalsensures that total contribution is maximized in each of the projects to implement marketing strategies established by the marketing departmentmaintains direct channel of communication with other cpkc departments to ensure marketing and sales plans for conversion projects and goals are aligned with other departmentscontrols expenses to meet budget guidelinesadheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the teamexemplifies cpkc vision, values, and culture interactions with coworkers, business partners, customers and stakeholdersideal candidate qualificationsbachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, preferably in a job related major field of studyminimum seven (7) years of relevant professional experience, including specialized knowledge of a discipline utilized to lead an area of our business, or equivalent combination of education and experienceworking conditionsthis position has a regular full time schedule with a normal work week of monday through friday.
