brief position description:
responsible for inspecting, verifying, and ensuring the quality of all electrical installations, connections, and testing activities in a large-scale photovoltaic project, in accordance with applicable international standards, project specifications, and client requirements.
main responsibilities and duties:
• supervise and inspect the installation of electrical systems according to drawings, technical specifications, and quality standards.
• verify the execution and results of electrical tests for low, medium, and high voltage systems, including commissioning tests.
• ensure compliance with qa/qc procedures and maintain traceable documentation.
• identify, report, and coordinate the closure of non-conformities related to electrical works.
• participate in quality and coordination meetings with contractors, subcontractors, and client representatives.
• prepare and compile the electrical quality dossier in coordination with subcontractors.
• monitor compliance with electrical safety regulations and best practices during all site activities.
experience:
• minimum 2–3 years in electrical quality inspection or qa/qc roles in utility-scale photovoltaic or renewable energy projects.
• proven experience in inspection, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems (low, medium, high voltage).
knowledge:
• standards: iec, ieee, nec, and local electrical regulations.
• electrical systems: transformers, inverters, switchgear, protection systems, grounding, cabling, and terminations.
• ability to read and interpret single-line diagrams, schematics, and technical drawings.
requirements:
• strong attention to detail and commitment to compliance with quality and safety standards.
• ability to prepare technical reports and inspection records accurately.
• capacity to work on-site under international quality frameworks and deadlines.

bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related discipline (electromechanical engineering acceptable with strong electrical background).
