Overview
fresenius medical care, a global leader in products and services for the treatment of renal disease, is seeking a planning lead to join an 18-month project at our manufacturing plant in guadalajara. This role is responsible for ensuring effective production planning and material supply through efficient inventory management, alignment with budget and forecast, kpi tracking, and compliance with corporate standards, guaranteeing the plant's operational continuity.
responsibilities
* lead production and supply planning activities to ensure operational continuity throughout the project.
* optimize material availability and inventory levels through data analysis and kpi monitoring.
* coordinate and develop the planning team, ensuring proper execution of planning processes.
* ensure proper use of sap and adherence to fresenius medical care policies, procedures, and standards.
* collaborate with production, purchasing, quality, engineering, and logistics to align demand, capacity, mps/mrp, and business priorities.
* monitor budget and forecast, proposing adjustments to meet service level, cost, and efficiency targets.
* prepare and present executive reports on performance metrics such as inventory levels, otif, fill rate, plan adherence, and forecast variances.
requirements
* bachelor's degree in engineering, logistics, business administration, or a related field.
* advanced conversational english.
* minimum of 2 years of experience in planning, purchasing, or supply chain.
* proven experience in production planning and inventory management.
* knowledge of erp systems / sap (preferred).
* experience working with mps / mrp.
* strong analytical skills, results-driven mindset, effective communication, and team leadership abilities.
