We are seeking a skilled and results-driven mechanical maintenance technician to support the maintenance, repair, and optimization of industrial equipment and machinery, ensuring safe and efficient plant operations.
key responsibilities:
* perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on industrial machinery and equipment.
* diagnose and resolve mechanical issues efficiently to minimize downtime and maintain production continuity.
* support the installation, startup, and commissioning of new equipment.
* collaborate with engineering and production teams on equipment improvements and continuous improvement initiatives.
* fabricate, modify, and repair mechanical components and systems as required.
* ensure machinery operates safely and in compliance with company standards and regulations.
* maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation of completed work.
qualifications:
* minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial mechanical maintenance.
* strong ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
* solid knowledge of mechanical systems, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and power transmission.
* experience with cnc equipment, welding, and fabrication is preferred.
* strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
* ability to work independently and within a team-oriented environment.
* fluency in both english and spanish is required.
