technical sales specialist will provide in-depth, expert level support and advise the market area domain teams and cus in udc/sdm domain. Resource has to work closely with regional counterparts in customer rfx analysis and provide efficient solution based on the requirements.
this role is also encouraged to initiate and participate in knowledge-sharing activities, as well as coaching and mentoring others in team to build their competence.
*your daily activities are*:
- providing quality response for the rfp/tender within the given timelines
- take ownership of the bid response for specific area of working
- understand the rfp requirements thoroughly and initiate timely clarifications and response for the specific area
- interact with regional counterparts for discussion related to rfp
- solution responsible for udc (hlr/hss/cudb/eir/udm/udr etc.) in the bid office
- ensuring that the assumptions and risks are well captured and documented while providing the technical solution to the customers in the regions
- assist engagement lead/solution manager in the bid office during bid acceptance phase to agree on the scope and effort estimation with the region
- acquire expertise for products in udc/sdm domain
- knowledge sharing and efficient reuse of available document repository
- provide suggestions from tco optimization aspects to market area
- responsible for maintaining contacts within respective sales support team and support organizations so that customer queries are answered effectively in a timely manner
- while preparing a proposal, shall be responsible, through various interfaces, for the following activities or deliverables:
- network design and dimensioning
- bill of quantities (boq) & solution document
- answering technical statement of compliance (soc) & customer queries
*the main skills we require are*:
- education: bachelor of engineering in telecommunication / electronics or equivalent university degree
- experience: 4 to 9 years of relevant work experience
- strong understanding of general udc solutions (hlr/hss/cudb/eir/udm/udr etc.) for 2g, 3g, 4g and 5g (nsa/sa) networks
- deep knowledge in udc products and solutions
- knowledge of dimensioning and product configuration tools will be considered as merit
- knowledge of interface/protocols with mss, ims (sbc, cscf, mtas/as) & epc (epg/mme/sgsn-mme/wmg/sapc) nodes along with call flow would be an added advantage
- good knowledge of nfvi/virtualization and cloud native concepts along with basic understanding of kubernetes(k8s) would be a plus
