Development analyst this is an exciting opportunity to join the team in a period of strategic growth as a development analyst. Primary responsibilities assist in the identification of new markets and potential sites for future projects. Research site location costs (impact fees, building permits, insurance, tax implications, etc.). Underwrite and model potential opportunities to determine project viability and value. Conduct market research (trends, pricing, occupancy, costs, rental rates, utility information, etc.). Coordinate third-party due diligence (environmental, geotech, survey, engineering, architectural, design, marketing, etc.). Assist in the preparation and submission of initial and final tax credit applications and various other financing applications. Assist in completing required reports to state housing finance agencies. Assist with the closing due diligence process with debt and equity partners. Assist in the preparation and presentation of investment committee packages for executive-level review. Assist in the preparation of presentations for community meetings and government approvals. Contribute in all phases of the deal and have an understanding of the project from sourcing through stabilization. Other duties as assigned. Experience with financial modeling, market research, and real estate valuation strongly preferred. Bachelor's degree or equivalent, ideally in business, real estate, finance, architecture, urban planning, engineering, or a similar field. Ability and willingness to travel.
