job description
account management

* manage a portfolio of local and multinational corporate clients as well as trade travel partners, in alignment with commercial guidelines set by local management and headquarters. The role focuses on driving revenue growth, increasing market share, and ensuring client satisfaction.
* plan, conduct, and follow up on client visits to present new products and services.
* lead contract negotiations with trade and corporate accounts, developing customized solutions that foster satisfaction and revenue growth.
* ensure adherence to pricing and distribution policies.
* address client concerns and provide feedback to internal teams.
* prospect and acquire new corporate and trade clients.
* record all client interactions and action plans in salesforce.
* represent the company at industry and client events, strengthening market presence and brand visibility.
* promote products and services through workshops, marketing initiatives, and digital training sessions.

performance analysis & sales growth

* collaborate with management to review and assess portfolio performance in order to meet sales objectives.
* analyze client performance data to identify needs and maximize contract outcomes.
* maintain positive business trends, address negative ones, and explore opportunities to generate new business.

market intelligence & strategy

* provide management with insights on internal and external developments to support business decisions and adapt commercial strategies.
* monitor competitor activity and market trends, sharing findings with management.
* recommend adjustments to pricing, distribution, or sales policies to strengthen competitiveness and capture new opportunities.
* manage and process commercial gestures (special terms or offers).
* proactively prospect for new corporate contracts through calls and visits.

the successful applicant

* must be based in san josé, costa rica.
* understanding of the costa rican airline market.
* minimum of three years of sales experience, including field sales.
* proficiency in ms office and familiarity with sales tools.
* strong affinity with it systems and digital platforms.
* fluency in english and spanish
