Ocean freight business development manager
the ideal candidate will spearhead initiatives to generate and engage with business partners to build new business opportunities for the company.
* identify, qualify, and prospect new potential clients within international trade markets.
* develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key accounts to grow business and facilitate company expansion.
* create and present tailored ocean freight and integrated logistics solutions that meet specific client needs.
* oversee the sales cycle from lead generation to negotiation, closing, and account management.
responsibilities include preparing sales forecasts, management reports, and presenting results to senior leadership. The successful candidate will also be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients and developing strategies to increase revenue and market share.
qualifications:
* bachelor's degree in international business, engineering, business administration, comex, or related field.
* 5 years' prior industry-related business development experience (ocean freight).
* strong knowledge of international trade processes.
* professional fluency in english is mandatory.
* proficiency using crm tools and the microsoft office 365 suite.
* focused and goal-oriented.
