*innovate high-purity, high-performance chemicals and materials*:process solution business, based in mexico and will report to general manager and will lead the energy sales team.this business leadership role will be responsible for a complete sales performance while leading a reporting team of in country sales team & sales support team and working closely with cross functional team of marketing, customer service, technical support/ product support, finance, human resources, and integrated supply chain for process solutions.
the goal of the position is to drive profitable above-market growth by implementing strategic & tactical business initiatives and manage an outcome-based solution approach in the country.
*day to day tasks*- lead the business to achieve the sales and operating income targets for each year.- drive the strategy roadmap and annually create the 5-years strategic planning for the business to ensure faster growth than market and faster operating income conversion.- enable the execution of key strategic planning (strap) initiatives through the principles of business operating system with transforming strategic planning (strap) objectives into clear activities to drive flawless execution.- functionally lead the team to develop the right process and measures to ensure superior service to customers and drive for higher productivity/ profitability for the business.- work with the functional heads, sales head, regional managers to understand customer needs/ sales opportunities, vendor / supplier capabilities and margin/ cost implications in pursuit of sales and profitability.- provide leadership to the sales team for managing sales expansion.- align sales with marketing to actively manage the vertical strategies are in line with customer segment.- drive new geographical expansion- ensure expansion of customer base in each of the line of business and ensure sales revenue and gross margins for each line of business- understand, define, and segment customers and develop the right cost to serve model, product/ service offering that maximizes the roi on any new product development.- work with the marketing team to develop mechanisms that capture voice of customer and then translate it into customer segment specific offerings and sales strategy.- partner with engineering and isc leaders in executing leaner/faster processes to achieve aop and strategic plan objectives- establish and execute on clear goals to achieve significant cost, quality, delivery and productivity improvements - "bigger, bolder, faster"*you must have*:- bachelor's degree / equivalent, with significant experience in the field- 5+ years of sales experience in process industrial automation- degree in business study from within the region or globally preferred.- possess strong office automation product knowledge (excel, word, powerpoint, etc
