This role combines creative vision with operational excellence — balancing storytelling and performance to drive measurable business outcomes. As cmo, you'll oversee acquisition, retention, creative, merchandising, and cross-channel marketing initiatives, while managing internal and external teams across media buying, retention, creative, and analytics. You'll be the strategic driver behind our paid media creative strategy, lifecycle marketing, website experience, and brand storytelling — ensuring our marketing engine runs smoothly and scales efficiently. Key responsibilities 1. Acquisition lead paid media creative strategy and performance optimization. Conduct competitor analysis using tools like foreplay to identify top creative and copy trends. Oversee ad production workflow: shot list → ranyia (shoot) → brendan (edit) → maccy (final polish + resize for google/meta). Monitor media spend and campaign performance, iterating on top performers. Ugc management : develop creative angles, hooks, and scripts for creators. Manage and approve ugc content pipeline. Negotiate contracts with creators and partners. 2. Retention source inspiration from competitor campaigns and flows. Review weekly retention performance metrics. 3. Marketing calendar, promos & evergreen offers build and manage promo/marketing calendar aligned with key holidays/events. Coordinate with pr and external agencies for campaign rollouts. Approve and test discount codes. Manage evergreen offers — toggling between promos and updating homepage
