forvia- hella is seeking its next great systems engineer – body control to join our growing body control team. As configuration and change engineer, the primary function of this position will be to administrate and manage the product configuration changes and documentation for body products, as well as you will be responsible for error and reporting project administration. If chosen for this opportunity you will gain access to product engineering focused on the next generation control modules.
your tasks
* support the product development processes using aspice and working alongside technical project managers, the systems lead, system analyst, architects, requirements engineers, test engineers, change & problem managers, and configuration and release engineers.
* administrates and configure the product changes through our ci/cd environment.
* construct the project tree and manage the product documentation.
* error and reporting manager.
* change and configuration manager.
* collaborate with the pm and the technical project lead for updating project performance metrics.
* collaborate with the quality in project team for updating project kpis and error & reporting metrics.
your qualifications
* self‑motivated engineer with systems mindset and strong sense of responsibility who enjoys solving problems on daily basis and holds a bachelor’s degree in science, engineering or similar.
* you are known for being a neat and organized person, focusing on project change standardization.
* 3+ years of accumulated relevant experience in automotive ecu development support roles.
* good command of project technical documentation and project tree administration.
* good communication skills (verbal, written, presentation).
* control versioning knowledge, preferable ci/cd (git) experience.
* interest, ability and willingness to collaborate in‑person with cross‑discipline teams.
* alm and ibm doors knowledge will be a good plus.
