specs family partners ltd is looking for a warehouse associate to manage order selecting and merchandising wholesale products daily, ensuring efficient expediting and stocking for our wholesale customers.
essential duties and responsibilities
* knows and actively demonstrates our company mission statement and core values daily.
* correctly identifies product by sku, size, varietal, and rack bin location.
* makes necessary notes on invoices to reflect variances, changes, and out-of-stock products.
* maintains control and integrity of pull cart to ensure no product is removed until the order is completely pulled.
* maintains neat and orderly product rack areas while order selecting.
* ensures pull cart staging area allows quick verification of orders.
* packs wholesale order products neatly without damage to preserve item integrity upon delivery.
* tags wholesale customer orders according to quantity of shipment.
* maintains security and proper usage of all tabc stamps utilized for wholesale customer orders.
* works with and maintains tabc stamp guns and machines.
* restocks supplies and utilizes equipment when needed to replenish products in the racks.
* informs manager/lead of out-of-stock items or inventory variance on all items.
* maintains computer equipment and assists with inventory preparation.
* practices teamwork and cooperation with coworkers.
* seeks continual skill improvement to contribute to profitability and productivity.
* undertakes responsibilities with care and attention to detail.
* lifts 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally per shift.
* properly utilizes a dolly and/or pallet jack.
* pushes or pulls 50-100 pounds regularly.
* performs other projects as assigned by management.
* efficiently carries out all directives given by management.
* works in accordance with all safety regulations of specs family partners and osha.
* prioritizes tasks and meets daily demands with good time management.
* maintains attendance and timeliness.
* this position is not a work-from-home opportunity.

this job has no supervisory responsibilities.
qualifications
education or experience: 1-2 years of warehouse experience preferred but entry-level is welcome. High school diploma or ged acceptable.
language skills: able to read, comprehend, and write simple instructions or memos; able to communicate with coworkers and guests.
mathematical skills: ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide with whole numbers and fractions/decimals without calculator aid; counting skills useful for inventory.
attitudinal and personal skills: responsible, reliable, self‐starter with strong work ethic; patience, friendliness, and outgoing personality.
hours: full time: 40 hrs/week, available for any shift on friday or saturday, must cover 80%+ of all shifts. Part time: up to 25 hrs/week. Schedule based on business needs; no unscheduled hours without manager approval.
reasoning ability: applies common sense to follow written, oral, or diagram instructions; punctuality appreciated.
physical demands: regularly stand, walk, bend, use hands and fingers; lift up to 50 lbs and occasionally 100 lbs; use industrial machine to move pallets up to 2400 lbs; require good vision.
work environment: exposed to outside weather conditions; noise level moderate to loud.
