key responsibilities:
* develop and implement weekly lesson plans that align with the school's music program
* collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver ib unit of inquiry
* monitor and document student progress, adapting curriculum content and strategies as needed
* foster a positive and respectful classroom culture that promotes social-emotional learning and academic achievement
* stay up-to-date with professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices and stay current with best practices in music education
required skills and qualifications:
* bachelor or master's degree in music education or related field
* minimum 2 years of teaching experience in music education
* strong knowledge of ib curriculum and standards
* excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
