duties and responsabilities
1. supervise qc personnel assigned to value streams, ndt inspectors, and certifying staff.
2. organize qc inspection resources to support the achievement of csw on-time delivery and turn-around time goals.
3. oversee inspectors' activities to ensure all inspections are performed in accordance with engine manual and customer requirements.
4. coordinate and maintain inspection personnel competence, and the use and recall of inspection gages.
5. drive the recording, and handling of quality records in accordance with quality system requirements, and monitor the correct transactions made by inspectors in erp system (syteline).
6. facilitate training to inspection personnel on new and updated quality system documentation and engineering approved data.
7. perform dakota safety audits.
8. control of quality control and fpi inspection tools.
9. certain other activities or responsibilities inherent to the position.
requirements:
* b.s. Industrial engineering or equivalent degree.
* minimum 4 years of experience in similar position. Experience in aerospace industry preferred.
* bilingual. Spanish and english (90% conversational and written).
* knowledge: computer skills using ms office (word and excel), and familiar with transactions in erp system.
* valid us visa.
