responsibilities:
* manufacture urgent parts, machined and bent, using conventional equipment based on drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
* operate manual or mechanical benders to make bends in sheets, sills, or metal profiles.
* verify machine condition before use (cleaning, oil levels, calibration).
* read and interpret mechanical drawings, tolerances, surface finishes, and geometries.
* select materials and machining parameters based on material properties.
* assemble parts on lathe/mill, ensuring correct alignment and clamping; select and adjust cutting tools.
* perform operations such as turning, facing, grooving, threading, boring, reaming, and milling.
* control the dimensional quality using measuring instruments and adjust stops, guides, and angles.
* inspect finished parts according to drawings and tolerances.
* handle waste materials following procedures.
* document changes, parameter adjustments, and issues during the process; manage kpis related to model changes.
* collaborate with team members to coordinate model changeovers and resolve issues.
* train other operators on new configurations and procedures.
skills, knowledge, and experience
* minimum academic qualification as a higher university technician in industrial processes, machining, or related fields.
* technical training in conventional machining, industrial mechanics, or related areas.
* at least 2 years of experience operating conventional and bending machines.
* knowledge in blueprint interpretation, measuring instruments, and machining processes.
* analytical skills, attention to detail, and teamwork abilities.
* commitment to safety and industrial hygiene standards.
* availability to work rotating shifts.
