Our division, dhl global forwarding in its daily business takes care of a variety of customers' logistics needs, import and export (air, ocean and land) including customs as well, from standardized logistics operations and multi-modal transport solutions to highly individualized industrial projects.
We are currently looking for our field sales specialist at cdmx; with high knowledge and experience sales of forwarding services.
What will be your main goal in this position?
Being the main contact with clients located in the east asia (china) region developed business opportunities for sales of air and sea import and export services.
What will you do in this position?
- maintaining/developing relations with chinese customers and executing global/regional sector strategy on country level.
- being the local/global customer’s main point of contact.
Wining more business, retaining existing portfolio and developing chinese strategic customers.
- always troubleshooting and assisting customers
coordinating with all stake holders on account planning, customer inquiries, business reviews, etc.
- gathering customer and market information to update product and trade lane on current conditions.
What can you bring to the position?
- working experience in the industry & commercial experience
- deep knowledge on products (afr/ofr/ cdz/ iws / trk) and business models
- ability to work independently and drive customized solutions/address individual needs
- conceptual thinking and analytical skills
- fluent in mandarin / english
- travel 30 % across mexico in case that its needed
