to lead and manage the solutions consultants (sc’s) to assist with driving strategy and license revenue for the sub regional sales. The main drive in this position is to ensure that genesys builds a cohesive and highly energetic solution consulting team to support the sales organization to close strategic deals. The solutions consulting manager must be able to lead a virtual team of solution consultants and drive enablement of the channel sales and pre-sales community, ensuring success within their specific sales territories.

the senior manager of solution consulting will provide comprehensive and technical strategy that maximizes needs to drive revenue for the entire genesys suite of products through managing direct sales in the mid-market and velocity teams.

responsibilities:


1. overall responsibility for managing and develop a team of solutions consultants including recruiting, hiring, and training new sc’s on the genesys technical and sales process.
2. working with the sub-regional sales leadership team to define and influence strategy.
3. work in partnership with the account team to drive revenue (gap) for the region.
4. drive and champion adoption and execution of smart methodology.
5. manage the education levels development and certification of team members.
6. prioritizing and managing team resources to meet increasing demands.
7. work in conjunction with channel management to drive partner enablement.
8. ensure team compliance with processes and procedures.
9. provide input to other cross-functional departments – such as product management, professional services and marketing where necessary.
10. work closely with professional services to ensure a successful handover and deployment on direct and indirect engagements.
11. ability to solve complex problems while engaging multiple cross functional resources.
12. sells and promotes the sales of genesys products.
13. participates in strategic and tactical planning for the division.
14. develops and execute a territory plan to maximize revenue. Generates and achieves monthly territory forecasts, and accurately predicts revenue on a monthly basis.
15. manages escalations in sub region.
16. develops leadership platform for the sub region.
17. conducts weekly progress meetings with sc team.
18. conduct 1:1 calls with his team every week.
19. demonstrating the technical products for all genesys solutions.
20. presenting the technical aspects of the genesys solution.
21. caas/premise/hybrid and hosted solution experience.
22. assists in the development of short, medium, and long-term plans to achieve strategic objectives.
23. regularly interacts across functional areas with senior management or executives to ensure objectives are met.
24. ability to influence thinking or gain acceptance of others in sensitive situations important.
25. ensure the teams are capable of delivering to the highest possible standards including the following areas:
* gather information and requirements from customers and partners to position relevant solutions and define architectures
* articulate corporate messaging and solutions through presentations, white-board, and open discussions with customers.
* respond to manage responses rfi/rfps
* remain current with industry trends
* provide mentoring and coaching to architect the solution consulting team
* drive collaboration within the local and wider sc teams
* engage with product management to influence product direction
* coordinate internal seo training
* conduct performance reviews, providing career growth opportunities, and recruiting for open positions
* provide managerial direction and motivating individuals to ensure team meets schedule commitments
* have a good understanding of the genesys strategic direction and articulate that direction internally as well as to customers and partners

qualifications / skills required / preferred:

* bachelor’s degree.
* 7-10+ years’ experience in pre-sales role.
* 5+ years in management / and or team lead role.
* experience in working with enterprise application software solutions in a pre-sales role.
* experience in contact centers and/or cx preferred.
* ability to work under pressure with competing priorities.
* excellent presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage mid and senior level management.
* good conflict resolution and team building skills.
* previous experience hiring and building a pre-sales team is an asset.
* ability to manage professional employees through mentoring, coaching and skill development.
* ability to establish clear objectives and direction for team.
* must be a team player with strong leadership skills.
* willingness to travel.
* knowledge of the genesys solutions highly preferred.
* ability to hire and train new solutions consultant’s.
* be a "high energy", results-oriented achiever and a team player willing to work in a demanding and dynamic environment.
* demonstrated track record in hitting solution consulting goals on your team.
* excellent verbal and written communications skills: produce materials, deliver presentations, and perform general education.
* ability to represent the company at senior executive levels.
* able to develop proposals and manage the sales cycle with minimum supervision while providing regular updated on progress and challenges.
* demonstrated leadership skills.
* the willingness to travel 60 to 70 percent of the time.

desirable skills:

* excellent verbal and written communications skills: produce materials, deliver presentations, and perform general education.
* ability to represent the company at senior executive levels.
* able to develop proposals and manage the sales cycle with minimum supervision while providing regular updated on progress and challenges.
* demonstrated leadership skills and leadership platform.
* the willingness to travel.
* fluent in english.
