requirements:
- bachelor's degree or higher in the fields of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or mechanical engineering technology from an accredited university (other engineering degrees, in combination with relevant experience may be considered)
- minimum of 8 years of related experience in body, interior & chassis components.
- previous experience in engineering department, vehicle/mechanic plant or project team
- ability to lead an engineering team to deliver product changes and launches on time
- experience with root cause analysis (rca) and corrective actions
- effective communication skills, both written and verbal from high level meetings down to the shop floor
- ability to work off shift hours as necessary
- self-motivated and directed
- ability to thrive in a high intensity environment while working on multiple projects
- rigorous and pragmatic
- languages: plant language & english

- define containment actions to apply for customer protection (including supplier issues)
- do vehicle issue diagnosis and root cause analysis
- ensure that his team carries out the pre-analysis activities on time
- do risk assessments and lead corrective action plans
- guarantee the product – process maturity of the components of his perimeter management of serial life (windows change management).
- propose alternative product solution in case of issues (as shortage) to avoid to stop mass production in the plant
- participate in quality eng tech clubs.
- implementation of good idea and standards (read across)
- ensure the right application in the plant of the technical requirements and the meta function "métiers" standards of his perimeter
- ensure that the skills of his team is at the right level
- ensure the management activities of his team (daily management control meeting)
- ensure that his team is working in safety
- lead quality kpi management to achieve quality objectives, driving improvement/corrective actions and escalation
- resolution of systemic/chronic or major quality issues (top warranty, recalls, ...)
- technical support yard holds / product related issues (pri's) technical referent inside the pri.
- set-up / on-going controls for process / product standards for vehicle & system functional objectives (i.e. Adas, bsr, fea)
