job summary
we are seeking an experienced senior manager, it - manufacturing capabilities service delivery to lead the delivery of it services and solutions that enable our manufacturing capabilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of it professionals and partnering with business stakeholders to design, implement, and support it solutions that drive business value and efficiency in our manufacturing operations.
key responsibilities
* lead the it manufacturing capabilities service delivery team, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to ensure the team is equipped to deliver high-quality it services and solutions.
* collaborate with business stakeholders to understand manufacturing requirements and develop it solutions that meet business needs, improve efficiency, and reduce costs.
* develop and manage the it roadmap for manufacturing capabilities, aligning with business strategy and priorities.
* oversee the design, development, testing, and implementation of it solutions, including manufacturing execution systems, quality management systems, and other manufacturing-related applications.
* ensure it solutions are integrated with other business systems, such as erp, supply chain, and logistics.
* develop and manage relationships with external partners and vendors to ensure effective delivery of it services and solutions.
* manage it budgets and resources to ensure effective use of investments and alignment with business priorities.
* develop and maintain it service level agreements (slas) and key performance indicators (kpis) to measure it service delivery and performance.
* collaborate with other it teams, such as infrastructure, security, and data analytics, to ensure alignment and effective delivery of it services.
* identify and mitigate it risks, ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
requirements
* bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
* minimum 8 years of experience in it, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
* proven experience in delivering it solutions in a manufacturing environment.
* strong understanding of manufacturing processes and systems, including manufacturing execution systems, quality management systems, and erp systems.
* excellent leadership and management skills, with experience in managing high-performing teams.
* strong communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work effectively with business stakeholders and it teams.
* experience with it service management frameworks, such as itil.
* strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with ability to analyze complex business problems and develop effective solutions.
nice to have
* experience with cloud‑based technologies, such as aws or azure.
* knowledge of industry 4.0 technologies, such as iot, ai, and machine learning.
* experience with agile development methodologies.
* certification in it service management, such as itil foundation.
