overview and responsibilities include managing a group of interrelated projects, optimally allocating resources for each project, analyzing deviations from plans, and making necessary corrections.
responsibilities
* manage programs and projects, delivering on time and within a margin equal to or greater than the agreed upon contract (project department).
* assign project managers to oversee the projects under their responsibility.
* manage (assign) manufacturing and installation managers to various projects to support their project managers.
* monthly review of all projects under their responsibility at the rof meeting, supporting pms beforehand so they are prepared for the meeting.
* continuous review of the projects under their responsibility, making any necessary adjustments with the managers who oversee them.
requirements
* engineering or master\'s degree in project management.
* five or more years of experience in the industrial automation systems industry.
* knowledge of industrial automation processes, applications, and solutions used in automotive manufacturing production systems, such as body-of-frame (biw) assembly, battery assembly, powertrain assembly, general assembly, or warehouse logistics systems.
* strong project management skills with certification desirable.

the project management manager is a key player in our journey towards founding and maturing the operational excellence culture by driving the planning and execution of the strategic initiatives’ portfolio across gbs.
this role will oversee cross-functional projects in areas such as accounts payable, billing, accounts receivable, payroll, customer service, and others that will be added to the scope of services, ensuring timely delivery, stakeholder alignment, and measurable impact.
key responsibilities:
* prioritize, lead, manage and deliver end-to-end project lifecycles for strategic initiatives in collaboration with smes, corporate and gbs leaders (process automation, digital transformation, erp migrations, software development, ai).
* monitor and report project portfolio performance according to gbs’ management review process considering local and foreign audiences.
* develop project management skills (hard & soft) among the gbs teams to mature the operational excellence culture.
required qualifications:
* overall experience of 10+ years with at least 5 years in a project management role within shared services, technology, software development or similar in global environments.
* bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (business, engineering, or related field) with proficiency in agile methodologies / pmi frameworks and risk management (pmp / agile certification preferred).
* must be comfortable in a fully bilingual working environment (spanish english) presenting strategic project status to vps and c-level executives demonstrating solid stakeholder management and communication skills.
* desired proficiency with relevant platforms and tools (erp systems, hris, ms office suite, ms teams) and sdlc projects.
