in a nutshell
the associate, client marketing & dsp relations will aid in marketing initiatives and dsp streaming promotion opportunities for artists in our latam genres. They will develop and implement a customized strategy to market each artist and will own relationships with genre managers and curators at dsp partners, tailoring streaming strategies to maximize visibility.
what you will do
* maintain ongoing communications with symphonic’s latam business development lead and client marketing team members to optimally serve and showcase clients.
* perform in-depth diagnostics for select clients and provide guidance for optimizing presence online and on dsp platforms.
* establish and nurture relationships with key representatives at dsps and develop strategies to expand reach and visibility of symphonic releases.
* collaborate with retail sales people, managers, labels, agents, publicists, app developers, advertising strategists, influencers, and artists to develop bespoke marketing strategies.
* identify, assess, and prioritize trends and campaigns in latam; maintain ongoing research to steer initiatives.
* analyze campaign effectiveness and allocate investment to high-roi opportunities.
* test new channels and partnerships to expand brand reach and relevance.
* pursue and test new marketing opportunities as assigned.
* assist with client management and a&r duties as needed.
what you need to have
* high school diploma or ged
* at least 2 years in a key marketing role at a record label, distributor, management company, or agency with the following achievements: strong dsp representation, successful audience-development marketing strategies, understanding latam market and genres, ability to travel regularly (potentially 25%), reading and interpreting business materials, writing reports, and presenting to executives.
* working knowledge of microsoft excel, word and powerpoint
* strong spanish language skills and understanding of cultural norms is a major plus
* bachelor’s degree in marketing or business-related field is preferred

the small print
you will create a remote office in miami, fl with access to hot desks at wework. You will be near latam dsp offices and make office visits to forge relationships. You will have a computer and desk phone; reasonable accommodations available if needed.
