as a production supervisor at phillips‑medisize, you will be a key leader on the production floor, ensuring that all manufacturing activities are executed efficiently to meet our customers’ requirements in terms of quantity, quality, and delivery timelines. Your role involves maximizing both human and material resources within the production process, guided by the principles of principle based management™ (pbm), while fostering team development and maximizing overall contribution.

you will be part of the production organization, working with a diverse, collaborative, and multidisciplinary team to ensure a stable, efficient operation aligned with organizational standards and expectations.
what you will do
* lead and optimize the production team to efficiently achieve the production schedule.
* review and execute the production plan, ensuring proper workforce allocation.
* monitor machines and production processes through product completion, verifying cycle times and taking corrective action when deviations occur.
* coordinate with technical personnel to resolve recurring issues and ensure equipment availability.
* ensure compliance with gmps, quality standards, and iso class 8 cleanroom operations.
* drive continuous improvement initiatives using tools such as lean manufacturing, kaizen, and structured problem‑solving methodologies.
* collaborate closely with quality and maintenance teams to ensure equipment reliability and product quality.
* promote a culture of safety, order, and cleanliness (5s) on the production floor.
* accurately manage production data in sap / mii, including scrap, downtime, and operational reporting.
who you are (basic qualifications)
* bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or a related field.
* availability to work rotating shifts.
* experience in personnel management, operational kpis (oee, scrap, labor), and manufacturing processes.
* knowledge of plastic injection molding, assembly processes, and manufacturing operations.
* experience using sap and production‑related transactions.
* english proficiency with the ability to read and communicate on technical topics.
what will put you ahead
* experience in regulated environments or the medical industry.
* knowledge and hands‑on experience with iso 9001:2015 and iso 13485.
* proven experience in scrap reduction strategies and process improvement initiatives.
* knowledge of iso 14001:2015 and environmental management systems.
* familiarity with pbm and a strong culture of continuous improvement and shop‑floor leadership.
