we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced affiliate controller to join our team in mexico city. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting and financial management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
the affiliate controller will be responsible for coordinating the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing process for us and canada affiliate entities. This includes ensuring that financial records are prepared accurately and in accordance with all statutory, regulatory, and group reporting requirements.
the successful candidate will also be responsible for managing internal teams and teams at business process outsourcers (bpos) to deliver results. They will need to have experience in managing across cultures and geographies to develop teams and deliver results.
required skills and qualifications
* experience with canada accounting and tax
* bachelor's degree in finance or accounting
* advanced knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including ifrs/local gaap
* experience with sap s/4 hana or equivalent erp system
* strong analytical and problem-solving skills
