- excellent organizational skills
- ability to travel to the u.s. and europe for periodic conferences
- bi-lingual (business fluent) in english and spanish
- excellent excel skills
- 5+ years of experience in a plant controller position or similar role
- strong leadership with direct reports. Ability to mentor and develop employees. Ability to set an example of strong work ethic, discipline and organization
- strong communication skills with both the plant manager and the senior manager of controlling, mexico
- willing to perform detailed analysis
- knowledge of erp systems. Ax2012 is preferred but experience with sap, oracle or other systems is acceptable
- exceptionally strong skills in finance, audit and compliance controls highest level of integrity and accuracy in all accounting
- able to resolve conflicts and sustain constructive working relationships with others
- ability to gather data, analyze information, evaluate results and choose or recommend best solutions for problems.
- skilled detecting and assessing problems and taking steps to anticipate, prevent or correct same
- excellent ledger and reporting experience in both mexico, the u.s and europe
