Job summary:
we are seeking a production manager to lead our production team and implement the production plan to meet customer requirements.
key responsibilities:
* develop and improve the housekeeping system by implementing efficient workflows and processes.
* monitor supervisors to ensure adherence to production plans and optimize takt time.
* guide the development of standard work times for each location and drive lean manufacturing practices.
* analyze and improve production efficiency through process optimization when required.
* collaborate with quality assurance teams to maintain quality and iso 9000 systems.
* provide guidance on kanban systems and analyze internal material shortages.
* develop, implement, and maintain equipment maintenance systems to minimize downtime.
* adjust man-hours to meet forecasts as needed.
* develop, implement, and maintain tools management systems to optimize resource allocation.
requirements:
* bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
* minimum 5+ years of experience in production/process fields in manufacturing environments.
* effective leadership skills.
* strong communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
* advanced computer skills.
* knowledge and experience in problem-solving methodologies.
